
Recent news reported that Milind Soman completed a 240-kilometer Unity Run at Vasai Virar Fort, a feat that added to his prior milestones in long-distance running. Renowned as an exceptional fitness icon in India, Milind undertook this challenging journey barefoot, starting from Pune on August 10. This was the third successive year he organized the Unity Run, pushing his overall distance covered to over 1100 kilometers. Milind's fitness endeavors also include a 420-kilometer run from Mumbai to the Statue of Unity in Kevadia, Gujarat for the inaugural Unity Run, followed by a 450-kilometer run from Jhansi to the Red Fort in Delhi in the second edition in 2022. Despite the physical demands and breathlessness many experience during long runs, Milind displayed remarkable endurance resembling his youthful vigor seen in his iconic role as Captain Vyom after completing the recent marathon.
